As Clinical Director at Hope Canyon, Dr. Seda Gragossian is responsible for overseeing our team of knowledgeable and experienced clinicians and behavioral therapists. With a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, Dr. Gragossian assists in the development of personalized treatment programs, moderating evidence-based therapy modules, and monitoring client progress. Under Dr. Gragossian’s guidance, our clinical team strives to meet the individual needs of each client to promote long-term success in recovery.
Dr. Christian Small graduated from the University of Hawaii: John A. Burns School of Medicine. After completing a combined residency in psychiatry and family medicine at the University of California San Diego, Dr. Small continued his dedication to helping those in need within the addiction recovery industry. With over five years of experience treating people with substance abuse disorders, he now oversees our subacute detox program. Working directly with clients and our nursing team, Dr. Small develops personalized treatment regimens designed to address each client’s medical needs, including consideration for pre-existing conditions.
Hope Canyon’s Director of Nursing, Madison Weiss, is passionate about helping our clients being their recovery journey safely and comfortably. Holding an Associate Degree in Nursing and with two years of medical experience, Madison oversees the daily responsibilities of our nursing staff including detox intake, medication administration, and scheduling follow up appointments. Her additional Associates of Science in Liberal Arts with an emphasis on social and behavioral science also helps Weiss in understanding client needs to provide a more personalized level of care.
With over 35 years of experience working with a full range of clients including children and families, Michelle Balke is a compassionate, dedicated member of the Hope Canyon behavioral health care team. As a licensed therapist holding a Master’s Degree in Counseling and a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Ecology, Michelle is able to help identify and address any number of factors which may contribute to addictive behavior, helping clients to move forward into long-term sobriety.
